hi i have been having this problem with my 3ds using different cia games and i always get this errorFailed to install CIA files.Result code: 0xD8E0806ALevel: Permanent (27)Summary: Invalid argument (7)Module: AM (32)Desc: Cert signature or hash check failed (106)now my brother also has a n3dsxl like me and we installed cfw the same way last weekusing the same cia files he was able to install these games while i keep getting this errori am kind of at a lost here since i am a complete newbie at this and i could really use some help as to why this is happeningwe both have new sd cards 32gb both of them tested and formatted as requested same cfwnow please like i said if you can give me dumbed down explinations i would appreciate it as i only started doing this a few days ago

also i would like to addfbi doesnt recognize version or region of the cia filesnor does it display their logosi dont know why this is happening as i stated the same files were used in my brothers 3ds and worked perfectly

as an additional measure i also did a clean check of the sd card again todayi moved out all of the files and did a write.test with h2wtest and still no issues with thatso when i put back all of the files with the cia files it still happenedno version no region no logoand whenever i try to install the game it gets to the end of installation and then i get that errorlike i said i used the same cia on pretty much the same n3dsxl of my brother which i both of them installed cfw one after the other without fault and i got this on mine and on his it works like a charm

How to Transfer 3DS Save Data to Citra

There are multiple ways to transfer 3DS save data to Citra in a usable form, but the important thing to note is that whatever tool used to get the save data off of the 3DS supports exporting expanded save data. Save data lives in Citra’s emulated SD card directories (user/sdmc/Nintendo 3DS/000...0/000...0/title/[game-TID-high]/[game-TID-low]/data/00000001/).

  1. Open Checkpoint. If this is the first time launching Checkpoint, it may take a considerably longer than usual depending on the amount of installed titles.
  2. Highlight the game you want to dump by navigating to it with the D-pad.
  3. Press A and select Backup on the bottom screen. You will be prompted Yes or No. Select Yes by pressing A.
  4. You will have the option to name the save folder. Name it whatever you want or use the name given to it. Press OK on the bottom screen.
  5. The top screen will flash a message Success! Progress correctly saved to disk. Exit out of Checkpoint.
  6. Transfer all files located in /3ds/Checkpoint/saves/[Game Name]/[Folder created in Step 4] to the computer.
  7. Place the files in Citra’s emulated SD card’s save directory. You can open the save directory by right-clicking on a game in Citra and clicking “Open Save Data Directory”. If the directory doesn’t exist, start the game once and the directory will be created.
